We're delighted that we were able to bring Betül Ügüden on board as a Content Creator for our team. In this interview, we introduce her to you:

What excites you about your profession?

I like solving problems. As a trained communication designer, it is easy for me to approach concepts holistically. As a Content Creator, I shape companies' web presence across all channels, which means I get to solve problems every day. That way, I can use my creative tentacles to solve problems efficiently.

What exactly is a good story to you?

A good story evokes emotions. We all enjoy reading, hearing, or seeing stories. As a Content Creator, I tell stories that move me. Enthusiasm for the subject is essential for me. Some stories need a little more time to digest before you can understand and retell them.

Do you have role models, and if so, which ones?

I have several artists who are role models for me. What they have in common is that their stories evoke strong emotions. Christoph Niemann, Esra Gülmen, Morag Myerscough and Teddy Teclebrhan inspire me. Their stories resonate.
If you want to tell good stories, you should therefore start with your own.

When do you really get into flow?

Enthusiasm and inspiration are my fuel. I enjoy creating content that excites and inspires others too. I think that is how you ignite the small sparks of passion for something. Because that is exactly what often keeps us from doing what we love: the lack of the driving force that passion provides.

Three things on your bucket list?

I would very much like to publish a book one day, something I strongly wish for. I would also like to live in Japan for a while and work as a designer for an international agency. Something I have always wanted to do: initiate a volunteer project and create real added value.

And one last personal question: What do you do even though it is unreasonable?

If I cannot fall asleep, I clean my room. I often do things before I know how to do them. If strangers speak to me in the wrong tone, I answer in kind. I have internet friends I have never met in person. I book train, bus, or plane tickets far too late.
