A visual translation of dance and the body
A set consisting of a photo book and exhibition catalogue for Esslingen-based photographer Dieter Blum. The book documents Blum’s long-standing work with the dancers of the Stuttgart Ballet. The large-format photographs express the dynamism of dance and the aesthetics of the dancers’ bodies in a distinctive way. The set was created for the 2005 Venice Dance Biennale, where Dieter Blum presented an extensive exhibition of his work.
