The Darmstadt-based architecture firm menzel | kossowski stands for a classically reduced yet contemporary architecture. The website redesign therefore carried equally high expectations and is now already in its fourth development stage with us. The website's clear, architectural look, with imagery that speaks for itself, emphasizes the design conviction and self-image of the architectural practice.
Free, dynamic and intuitive
The arrangement of images and text recalls classic print design, without its technical limitations. It feels free, dynamic, and intuitive to use. Text is used sparingly, but precisely. It remains deliberately restrained in favor of the imagery and is limited to the key information. Navigation is made easier by snap points: new content is primarily revealed through scrolling. Once the end of an information section is reached, the next one immediately follows via toaster scroll. In this way, the website can be experienced intuitively and places user-friendliness at the forefront.
