The Jewish Community of Frankfurt is one of the largest and most significant Jewish communities in Germany. With around 6,500 members, it offers a wide range of services and facilities for contemporary Jewish life. These include a community center with a kosher restaurant, two kindergartens, a nursery, a daycare center, the I.E. Lichtigfeld School, its own social services department, and a youth center and senior center with day care and a senior living complex.

A modern, user-friendly website

The existing website of the Jewish Community was outdated and no longer met today's standards for clarity and functionality. Our agency was commissioned to develop a new concept and comprehensively modernize the website. The goal was to create a user-friendly and contemporary platform that meets the community's needs and enables easy navigation.

Innovative website with intuitive user guidance

A particular focus of our solution was to improve the digital accessibility of the community newspaper and give it a stronger presence on the website. By integrating the “Magazine” section, editorial content was brought more into focus and the community newspaper became easier to access digitally.

Expansion and optimization of additional tools

Interactive Frankfurt Community Map: With this map, users can see the locations and institutions of the Jewish Community at a glance and learn about them.

Event calendar: The event calendar provides a comprehensive overview of all important events in Frankfurt, including services and educational programs.

Remembrance date calculator: A tool that helps users calculate relevant remembrance dates.

Thanks to the improved user guidance, visitors can now find their way around faster and access all relevant information in just a few clicks. Through the intelligent linking of content, users can, for example, jump directly from the event calendar to the details of an event or obtain further information about individual institutions via the community map, creating an intuitive user journey.

In addition, the integration of videos and large-format images creates a stronger emotional connection and an appealing user experience that authentically reflects the themes of the Jewish Community.

The new website is intended in particular to make access to the Jewish Community easier for young people and, with modern tools, meet the digital expectations of this target group. At the same time, it is designed to further strengthen existing cohesion within the Jewish Community in Frankfurt while also appealing to potential new members.
